What is Glow Facial?
A Glow Facial at TruForm Surgery is a rejuvenating skin treatment designed to enhance your complexion. It is a non-invasive procedure that provides instant results, making it an excellent choice for those looking to refresh and revitalize their skin. This advanced cosmetic facial combines three key steps:
- Dermaplaning: A gentle exfoliation technique that removes the top layer of dead skin cells and fine vellus hair (peach fuzz) from the face. Using a sterile surgical scalpel, dermaplaning helps improve skin texture and enhance the absorption of skincare products.
- Exfoliation: Following dermaplaning, the skin undergoes further exfoliation using professional-grade products tailored to your skin type and concerns. This step clears out pores, removes impurities, and stimulates cell turnover.
- Hydration Treatment: The final step in the Glow Facial is an intensely hydrating treatment that replenishes moisture and restores skin tone and the skin’s natural barrier. This phase includes the application of hydrating serums, masks, or moisturizers infused with vitamin C to soothe and revitalize the skin.

Who is a Candidate?
The Glow Facial suits most skin types and is ideal for individuals seeking a smoother, brighter complexion. You may be a great candidate if you want to improve skin texture and tone, have dry or dehydrated skin, experience dullness or an uneven complexion, or seek a non-invasive way to achieve an instant glow. Additionally, this facial pairs well with other skincare treatments, making it a versatile option. However, those with active acne, extremely sensitive skin, or certain skin conditions may require a customized approach.
What to Expect?
A Glow Facial treatment session typically takes 45-60 minutes. It starts with gentle cleansing to remove makeup, oil, and impurities, ensuring a clean face for the treatment. Next, the Glow Facial process combines exfoliation, dermaplaning, and hydration to enhance collagen production and improve elasticity. After we exfoliate, the facial concludes with applying sunscreen and finishing products to protect and maintain your skin’s glow. The process is gentle, with no downtime, making it a perfect way to treat your skin before special events or as part of your regular skincare routine.
Aftercare
After a Glow Facial, taking care of your skin is essential to maximize results. Avoid heavy makeup for at least 24 hours to allow your skin to breathe, and use gentle skincare products while avoiding harsh exfoliants for a few days. Keeping your skin hydrated with a quality moisturizer and applying sunscreen daily to protect your complexion from sun damage is key. We recommend utilizing Glow Facial as a recurring or deferred purchase every 4-6 weeks as part of your regular skincare regimen for optimal benefits to your appearance.
